Kerr Contractors supported the construction of a thermal driveway in Yamhill County, Oregon. Kerr Contractors performed specialty asphalt for Pihl Excavation and worked with Signature Paving to construct a thermal driveway that offers year-round access. This type of driveway requires that slots are milled in the paving to create room for installing the heating coils. Once the heating coils are installed the slots are paved back. This is an innovative application for an asphalt driveway.

How sweet it is! Kerr Contractors is celebrating 30 years of heavy civil construction. From humble beginnings in 1988, we have grown into one of the Northwest’s largestest heavy civil contractors. On June 9th, we were blessed with good weather as we celebrated this milestone at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville. Employees and their families joined us and took time to celebrate this milestone as we prepare for the heavy lifting of this season’s construction. Over 30 years there has been a lot of heavy lifting!
