I-205 Johnson Creek to the Glenn Jackson Bridge for ODOT

On December 21, 2017 ODOT received three bids for this project. The low bidder was $23M, Kerr was second at $26M and the third bidder was at $29M. The following day, Kerr received a letter indicating that the low bidder was non-responsive and that ODOT would move to next responsive bidder. Just over a month later, on January 23rd, Kerr received the notice of intent to award form ODOT for this project. This project is a major upgrade to one of the Portland area’s most congested sections of freeway. The project will improve safety and operations on I-205 between Johnson Creek Boulevard and Glenn Jackson Bridge. Work will include repaving approximately nine miles of I-205 in both directions, ramps and intersections; building auxiliary lanes in three locations; installing ODOT RealTime signs and improving sidewalk curb ramps within the project area.

Kerr Contractors is excited and preparing for construction this summer. You can learn more about this project at http://i205construction.org/glennjacksontojohnsoncreek
