Newland Communities and Kerr Contractors received 2nd Place in the Infrastructure Category for the Reed’s Crossing project at the 2019 DJC Top Projects Awards held May 16, 2019. This project is the result of over 3 years of construction from the initial intersection improvements at Cornelius Pass and OR8 including the at-grade railroad crossing as well as the street and lot improvements as part of the master-planned community. Great job to the project team of Kacy Carter, Scott Nelson, Ryker Smith, Quinn Cox, Kevin Donahoo, Corey Templin and all the members of the construction team.

Also receiving honorable mention in the large infrastructure category was the 124th Avenue Extension project for Washington County in Tualatin, Oregon. Great job to the project team of Sam Kennedy, Jay Hedberg, Pete Kelly, Corey Templin and all the members of the construction team.
