What You’ll Do:
Leading heavy civil contractor seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent to oversee multiple crews and deliver excellence in paving operations across the Pacific Northwest.
- Drive project success by leading multiple paving crews to meet quality and schedule targets
- Build strong relationships with project stakeholders, from crew members to client representatives
- Transform project plans into well-executed paving operations through expert coordination
- Foster a safety-first culture while maintaining high productivity
- Implement innovative solutions to complex paving challenges
- Lead daily operations of multiple paving crews
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders for seamless execution
- Manage material procurement, equipment allocation, and crew scheduling
- Ensure quality control meets or exceeds project specifications
- Conduct daily safety briefings and maintain rigorous safety standards
- Review and optimize daily production costs
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to crew members
What You’ll Need:
- 10+ years of proven asphalt paving experience
- Deep technical knowledge of paving operations and grade establishment
- Track record of successful project delivery
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)
- Strong leadership presence and communication skills
- Commitment to safety excellence
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
