Milling Foreman
What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Milling Foreman to oversee our milling operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in milling processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in the production process.
- Manage and supervise milling operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the milling team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Monitor milling equipment to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
Implement quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality products. - Coordinate with other departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Keep accurate records of milling activities, including inventory levels and production metrics.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in milling technology and techniques.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in milling or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a milling foreman or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of milling processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
